Someone asked me the other day about this quote that I have on my profile page:
It's not the spark that caused the fire. It was the air you breathed that fanned the flame.
It's taken from the song "Spark" by Over The Rhine
What it speaks to me is this. We live in a world where many fires are already raging. The question I try to live by is this;
Does the way I live (my actions and my tongue) by using the power God has given me, fan the flames or help put out the flames?
