When thinking back over the past several years of my life and all the beautiful change Father has worked into me, I would have to say that this book was a foundational part of that transformation. It began to clear the stage of wrong thinking that had shaped my understanding of God and what a relationship with him could be. I encourage you to read it with great expectancy of what Father can accomplish within the relationship he has always wanted with you.

Kent, I know this is an old post but I'm mid-way through He Loves Me. I read it online a couple of years ago but for some reason, it didn't connect. A couple of weeks ago, I got the revised edition and began reading it again. Now, it's like it's a different book.
I don't think I was ready for it when I read it the first time so I just put it aside and waited. Now, that I've learned and experienced so much of Father's love, I'm really enjoying re-reading it.
I'm glad to hear you are giving it another go. Have you heard todays podcast yet? It's all about the content in this book. Wonderfully freeing stuff.
I've downloaded it into my mp3 player but haven't listened yet. I'm really looking forward to it. Wayne does a great job explaining it.
I've also been wanting to re-read Penal Substitution vs. Christus Victor. It's been a while since I read that but I'm sure I would get a whole lot more out of it now than when I read it for the first time.
