Yesterday's post got me to thinking about one of my favorite things. Rain....and rolling thunder. YouTube is the best I've got right now.
This mornings walk with the dogs was the third morning in a row that was full of the sounds of spring even though it is not. It's going to be another day in the 50s though, and for Feb. that feels really nice.

Kent,
The last couple of posts brought to mind something from the movie "Doubt" which we saw sat. night.
There is a priest in the movie who seems to have a real love and compassion for people, but at the same time is under suspicion of inappropriate relations with a young man. In one scene he is speaking with one of the nuns and he opens his bible, and there are some pressed flowers inside. He tells her that he keeps them there to remind him that spring is coming. The movie takes place during winter. It can be so hard at times to believe it, but it always does.
"he keeps them there to remind him that spring is coming.......It can be so hard at times to believe it, but it always does."
there is a profound lesson in there for all of us.
Beautiful!! Nobody paints like my Daddy - and He even makes the sound effects to go with it!
Unmatchable!!
Now, excuse me, while I go pee - that sound of dripping water does it to me! :)
