Christian training, fundamentalism, political ideologies, social engineering and the such, have a way of keeping people trapped this side of complexity and mesmerized by blind certainty and fear. To face the complexity will most definitely involve some pain, much of it created by the confusion that's awaiting any brave soul who desires to be set free from the illusion. But there is no other way into simplicity and the peace and joy and rest that awaits us on the other side of complexity.

Now if you want to talk about the complexity of nature (as seen in this natural fractal) that is a wondrous thing. It's a place full of astounding beauty waiting to be discovered. While most of the complexity humans create and remain caught up in only serves to blind and bind them in destructive illusions.
