Black Friday could be a most precious gift for us as individuals and us a collective of people. It's really a huge mirror we could see our reflection in. What drives Black Friday, drives people everyday. It's exposes a way of being. And as soul diminishing as the consumerist part of it is, it's not the most damaging as that is. What it exposes is an insanity and the aggressive nature of our culture that now defines us as individuals, and that aggression exposes our discontent. It really is the meek who shall inherit the earth, and contentment seems to be at the heart of that quality of being.

These 2 links are to an interview that so exposes the absurdity and destructive side of consumerism and juxtaposes it with a nurturing way of living in this world awake and alive....and free.
