Who is it that began spreading the idea that raining days are to be despised? Days we wish away as if they are thieving something from us. No.....raining days don't steal anything from us. It's our attitude about them that does. And on top of that...it's the expectations we place on everything, trying to push away what we have judged as "bad" and trying to attract to us the things we have judged as "good". I mean really, how's that working for you? We do it to people, to things, to events, to days, to work weeks, to weekends, to all kinds of ideologies, etc. etc. etc. And the practice keeps us missing what is, and missing what each moment is offering us.
