THE DOPEY NAMED "FIRST DAY OF SPRING"

These Hellebore have been blooming for well over a month. The Snow Geese flew back north around Groundhog Day and I don't know if many were paying attention to that sign. We've had snow and ice and cold and some 70 degree days to fill the days of the month of March. That too is very typical signs that Spring is here, as well as there still being some Winter lingering. But today....for whatever reason...we seem to have to have a day to say it. An exercise that has no real meaning. Have you ever pondered how many kind of things we do like that? We too often have traded all we need in order to read the signs, for hallow substitutes. The hallow substitutes leave people thrashing about and acting rather odd and confused because they don't fit. They have no substance.
